Some links

Several days ago, a commenter on Ezzo and church discipline suggested I stick to my own experiences and not pay attention to internet lies. I replied when I comment I would discuss Ezzo's teaching, because I am a third party to these other issues. I really don't have much more to say about Ezzo and church discipline, anyway. It just winds up being a matter of viewing all the sources, checking your sources, and judging which side has more credibility.

I received some private e-mails telling me that some people would take what I said in response to this commenter to mean I was agreeing that the commenter was right and I was wrong.

In NO WAY did I intend to convey that idea.

No way.

But I suppose there are some people out there who like to misconstrue words, so for the sake of complete clarity, I am writing this post.

I am sure the commenter was referring to these links below when he spoke of lies about Ezzo and church discipline. I think he thinks John MacArthur's church is lying, and that Living Hope Church is lying as well.

He then gave me a link he thought would convince me, but I remain unconvinced. I have to make a decision, and there is just too much from too many know people who have proven their integrity (such as MacArthur and Dobson) for me to all of a sudden believe his one lone source out there.

Since he felt free to give me his link, and I am going to keep it in the comment section of two posts ago, I would like to post the links he doesn't believe are true, just so everyone reading can be clear about what he was referring to.

Say, could you give me a rundown on Ezzo's ideas of church discipline?

After watching all the commotion take place at CCC over someone just asking for clear explanations of a husbands authority, it's got me curious over these guys interpretation of biblical authority.

Ezzo doesn't have much to say (that I know of) on church discipline. If you like, google "awareparent" and you will find an Ezzo discussion site where there are many people who know much more than I do about what he teaches. It's a simple matter to join and post there, and it is a good discussion.

Thanks, Donna, and a none ymus, for visiting here.
